About the Name "NorEEco"
NorEEco was originally founded as an environmental consulting practice — the "co" standing for consultants. As the organization evolved, the name grew with it. Today, "co" reflects a broader collaborative ecosystem: a network of specialists advancing regenerative, energy, and ecological solutions.

Our Principal
Bak Chauhan, Ph.D.
Bak has decades of experience in environmental sciences, sustainability, and clean‑technology research & innovation. He completed his doctoral degree in electrochemistry at the University of Guelph. He then applied his expertise to advanced systems such as fuel cells at the University of Toronto and photoelectrochemical technologies at MIT. Throughout his career, Bak has developed partnerships and managed complex multidisciplinary projects across universities and research institutes. He has directed feasibility studies for renewable energy systems and demonstrated leadership in integrating hydrogen, fuel cell, photovoltaic, and wind technologies. Bak has presented papers and moderated technical sessions on these topics at conferences around the world. Bak has advised clients on toxic substances, developed environmental standards, delivered corporate training, and moderated multi‑stakeholder consultations. Today, he leads NorEEco as a collaborative sustainability, energy, and environmental practice supported by a global network of specialists.
